What Your Hair Wants You to Do

Article: What Your Hair Wants You to Do

1. Hair Washing and Care

  • Purchase more than three types of shampoo and rotate their use. Choose the ones that suit you best. Wash your hair when it feels oily and uncomfortable.
  • Opt for high-quality hair care oils. For example, Silkonite 24K is suitable for all hair types.
  • Use hair masks and conditioners sparingly in summer, but more frequently in winter if your hair ends are dry.
  • After washing and blow-drying your hair to half dry, apply hair care oil. Once your hair is completely dry, apply the oil again.

2. Brushing Your Hair

  • Brushing your scalp can improve blood circulation.
  • When the meridians are unblocked and blood flow is enhanced, more nutrients will be delivered to your hair. This will lead to healthier hair follicles and, consequently, better hair. Moreover, brushing your hair can also help with sleep.
  • If you don't like brushing your scalp, it's time to start! You can use sandalwood or buffalo horn combs, but avoid plastic and metal combs. Setting a timer is more effective than counting in your head for maintaining consistency. If you're new to brushing your scalp and find the meridians blocked, start with shorter sessions and less pressure, gradually increasing over time.

3. Diet

  • Ensure you have three balanced meals a day.
  • You can eat more fruits like avocado, blueberries, and watermelon (avocado can help with hair shine).
  • Adjust your intake of black sesame paste, black bean paste, and red bean soymilk according to your needs, 3 to 5 times a week.

4. Sleep and Exercise

  • Avoid staying up late. Try to sleep after 11 pm at the latest.
  • Stay relaxed and maintain a positive mood. Exercise regularly and soak your feet before bed.
  • Limit or avoid carbonated drinks and high-sugar milk tea.
